ALTERNATIVE ROUTE FROM St RÉVÉRIEN TO LE COEUR DU CHEMIN
The official route follows the provincial highway D977BIS for about 8 km until Les Fountaines. The alternative is a route that goes via Montenoison which is a beautiful viewpoint on the highest hill in the area. The route is 3 km longer (total 15km) but makes for a more pleasant, safe and beautiful walk. highly recommended. Download the GPX file below.
TOUR AROUND PRÉMERY VIA LES MARDELLES
If you want to stay a day around Prémery there is a beautiful walk that takes you a natural sanctuary “Le Mardelles de Prémery”. The route takes from Le Coeur du Chemin about 4 hours and from the town centre 3 hours with a length of 11 km and 16 from the gîte.
